The local broadcast television industry provides an important source of local news, culture and entertainment. We are focused on a future state 5 to 7 years from now when all local broadcast stations have migrated to ATSC 3.0. In that future state, there will be 20-30m TV households watching a very advanced, hybrid broadband/broadcast FREE TO AIR TV viewing service with enhanced content, expansive video on demand services, hyperlocal news, and exceptionally relevant advertising… all running on the Run3TV platform.

Build and Deploy Efficiently
Run3TV enables broadcasters to efficiently build and deploy their ATSC 3.0 applications. Our application framework is integrated onto a large number of technically quite dissimilar Smart TV platforms and 3.0 external set top boxes. Smart TV manufacturers use different chipsets and different operating systems. Run3TV spends considerable time integrating and testing the platform on all the different TVs and set top boxes to make it possible for developers to ‘write once and play everywhere.’
HISTORY
Reimagining Television
Run3TV was formed in May 2024 based on software assets developed by Pearl TV and contributed to Run3TV, along with a broad customer base of TV stations with active 3.0 applications in running more than 70 DMAs. The Run3TV application platform has now been integrated onto a large number of Smart TV OEM platforms and external set top boxes with approximately 15m cumulative 3.0 capable TVs shipped.
